I am essentially a philosopher who defines “philosophy” as bridging the gap between vague ideas and some more exact or at least “clear and definite” science or proto-science. I have a BS in Philosophy from MIT as well as a MA in Philosophy, a MA in Economics, and a Phd in Mathematics all from Boston University. The title of the blog comes from my 1995 book: Intellectual Trespassing as a Way of Life: Essays in Philosophy, Economics, and Mathematics. This blog is a companion blog to: Intellectual Trespassing as a Way of Life at: www.blog.ellerman.org which deals with the human sciences and current events. My website is: www.ellerman.org and I can be reached at: david(at)ellerman.org .
